Terms and Conditions
Last updated August 6, 2026
1. Overview
By submitting an entry to the Beatbox Challenge, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not submit an entry.
2. Eligibility
The competition is open to beatboxers worldwide, subject to applicable local laws and any additional eligibility requirements announced by the organizer. Entrants are responsible for making sure they are allowed to participate and receive any prize offered.
3. Entry Requirements
Each entry must include a beatbox performance recording and the original sample being recreated. Entries must follow the selected category, genre, subgenre, and duration requirements shown on the submission form.
You represent that your submitted performance is your own work and that you have the rights or permissions needed to submit any uploaded content, including the original sample file.
4. Contact and Communications
By entering, you agree that the organizer may contact you using the email address provided with your submission about your entry, eligibility, judging, results, prize fulfillment, corrections, and competition-related announcements.
5. Submitted Content and License
You retain ownership of your submitted content. By submitting an entry, you grant the organizer, competition judges, reviewers, contractors, partners, and related representatives a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to host, store, copy, review, listen to, play, evaluate, moderate, excerpt, display, and otherwise use the submitted content for competition administration, judging, promotion, archival, dispute resolution, and announcement purposes.
As part of this license, competition judges may use submitted content royalty-free for judging, review, comparison, administration, training, moderation, quality control, dispute resolution, and any other competition-related purpose without additional approval or compensation.
The organizer may identify entrants by submitted name, stage name, country, social handles, and entry details when announcing results or promoting the competition.
6. Judging and Results
Entries may be reviewed for quality, category fit, originality, technical execution, and any other criteria selected by the organizer or judges. Judging decisions are final unless the organizer chooses to reopen, correct, or review a decision.
7. Prizes
Prize availability, amounts, timing, and fulfillment methods may depend on entrant eligibility, identity verification, payment access, local rules, and successful contact using the submitted email address. No prize substitution or transfer is guaranteed.
8. Disqualification
The organizer may reject or disqualify entries that are incomplete, fraudulent, unlawful, abusive, unsafe, infringing, outside the required duration, submitted with unreadable files, or otherwise inconsistent with the spirit or rules of the competition.
9. Data and Retention
Submission information and uploaded files may be stored for competition operation, judging, records, fraud prevention, and follow-up communication. The organizer may delete, retain, or archive submissions as needed for these purposes.
10. Liability
The competition is provided as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the organizer is not responsible for lost entries, upload issues, corrupted files, judging delays, platform outages, or indirect damages arising from participation.
11. Changes
The organizer may update these terms, adjust deadlines, change judging procedures, or cancel or modify the competition if necessary. The version posted when you submit applies to your entry unless a later change is required by law or platform rules.
